How Does This Work?
Rent or Buy – Whatever Works for You! We’re here to guide you through the process, starting with a visit to our store to try on stunning gowns
1st – Find the Gown
Walk-In anytime Thursday-Saturday 11am-6pm. Explore our collection of over 1,000 gowns in sizes 00–26, from short and cocktail styles to elegant floor-length and black tie options, plus some stylish jumpsuits!
2nd – Rent or Buy
The gown fits perfectly, but it’s only for one event? Rent it! Our rentals are for 4 days and include cleaning, with rates ranging from $30 to $100. Want a custom hem, prefer not to worry about pickups and drop-offs, or just love the dress and want to wear it again and again? Buy it! Custom hems are included with all gown purchases.
Rental Process
Reserve your dress in advance with a $10 deposit, or walk out with the perfect gown for tomorrow’s event – the choice is yours! Book as far ahead or as last-minute as you need
Rental Options – Hems
Most full-length rentals can be hemmed to a 5’7″ height with one week’s notice. Sequin gowns can also be hemmed with a custom tack hem for an additional $15, with a week’s notice. Strap adjustments can be made at no extra charge.
Rental Options – Extended Rentals, Changing, or Cancel
Need a dress for longer than 4 days? We offer extended rental rates and can pack your gown in a packing cube for easy travel.
Changed your mind? No problem! You can exchange your dress or cancel up to one week before your rental. The $10 deposit is retained as a cancellation fee.

- Laurinburg/Rockingham Area – $50 Travel Fee
- Fayetteville/Spring Lake/Sanford Areas – $75 Travel Fee
- Raleigh/Durham/Greensboro Areas – $100 Travel Fee

Consignment
Gowns you no longer need? We can help! Hazel+Grace accepts both Consignment or Donation. Follow the guidelines below for our consignment process. If you prefer to donate.. first off thank you so much! Donations allow us to keep the rental rates low, providing affordable quality dresses to everyone. We accept any gowns for donation, and donations can be dropped off anytime during our walk-in hours, or you can text the Hazel+Grace phone number and we can schedule a meet up/pick-up.
How Consignment Works
We’ve simplified our process to keep things easy and intentional.
Step 1: Text Us Photos
Start by texting clear photos of your dress(es) to our store number 910-420-4090. Please include:
- Front + back photos
- Brand/designer (if known)
- Size (street size preferred)
- Any alterations or notes
👉 We review all submissions before scheduling in-person appointments.
Step 2: Approval + Appointment
If your item(s) are a good fit for our current inventory, we’ll invite you to bring them in for a final review by appointment.
Step 3: In-Store Confirmation
Items must match photos and be in excellent condition to be accepted. **Please note we will not accept dirty dress. Please check for dirty hems, deodorant stains, food stains, or damaged zippers**
Consignment Terms
Consignment period: 1 year
Consigned dress(es) enter into our rental inventory
You’ll receive payment after the first rental totaling the full rental rate ($30-$100 dependent on the dress)
Payment method is selected at contract signing
After the first rental, the item becomes property of Hazel + Grace
If your item does not rent, you may pick it up or it will be donated
What We’re Looking For
Our inventory is carefully curated and always evolving. In general, we look for:
Modern, on-trend styles
Excellent or like-new condition
Popular sizes and flattering fits
Dresses appropriate for events like prom, wedding guests, galas, military balls, and other formal events.
Seamstress Services
Hazel+Grace is currently only offering seamstress services on gowns purchased from our shop. If you have a garment not from our store that you need alterations on we recommend these following seamstresses/tailors.
